Corneli’s aim is to integrate psychological assessment with psychological and developmental interventions with a strong focus on enhancing skills and psychological well-being. Corneli has a strong interest in the mind-body connection and employs an eclectic and holistic approach tailored to the individual.
Experience in assessment and therapy for a vast range of mental health difficulties in children and adolescents.
Interest in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and learning difficulties.
Experience in cognitive and educational assessments using the latest assessment instruments.
Experience in providing mental health assessment and therapy.
Experience in a community based organisation working with children and adolescents who experienced developmental trauma. This includes assessment and therapeutic services aimed at working collaboratively with the client, family and care team using a variety of evidence-based approaches.
Training and Education
Bachelor of Health Sciences and Social Services from the University of South Africa.
Honours in Educational Psychology from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
Masters in Educational Psychology from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
Completed Level 1 Somatic Experiencing training.
Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority.
