  • To integrate psychological assessment with developmental, psychological and behavioural interventions with a strong focus on skills based therapies.
  • Experience providing assessment and therapy for a vast range of mental health difficulties in children, adolescents and adults.
  • Comprehensive intervention programs and counselling that include a holistic approach.
  • A strong interest in complex trauma and disability (intellectual disabilities, ASD, FASD).

Experience

  • Experience in public mental health providing mental health assessment, therapy, case management and crisis response, including a several years in a senior roles.
  • Experience in a community services organisation working with children and adolescents who have experienced developmental trauma, as well as experience in working with their families, caregivers, schools and other adults in their lives. This includes several years in leadership roles.
  • Experience in providing secondary consultation to other professionals working with children and adolescents who have experienced developmental trauma.

Training and Education

  • Completed Bachelor of Arts (psychology) and the Post Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Deakin University.
  • Completed Certificate of Clinical Trauma Therapy and Certificate of Compassion Fatigue with the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
  • Completed Level 1 Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) training.
  • Board approved psychology supervisor through the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority.
